For environmental remediation projects, Intellishare will
determine what features are needed and enable you to
add
modules if projects or conditions change. For
example, Intellishare
offers heat exchange modules (field
or factory inserted)
to reduce oxidizer energy requirements. This can significantly
reduce oxidizer operating costs when concentrations in the
fume stream drop. Intellishare systems are also designed
so catalyst modules can be easily field inserted. The ability
to add modules when needed can significantly reduce up-front
capital expenditures.
High-End Components and Instrumentation
Investment in quality components translates into ease of
operation and less oxidizer support services. For example,
Intellishare uses only the most technologically advanced
Honeywell temperature controllers in its control panels.
The programmable interface displays information to the operator
in plain English rather than the dizzying array of symbols
used by other temperature controllers.
In terms of features and reliability, Intellishare has learned
that not all instrumentation is the same. As a result, Intellishare
uses top notch components in environmental remediation systems
and clients get time-tested, best of breed components and
instrumentation in Intellishare remediation equipment.
Circuit Breakers in Control Panel (no fuses)
Intellishare’s One Touch Control System uses circuit
breakers instead of specialized fuses used by most other
oxidizer manufacturers. This means less time wasted by service
technicians trying to find specialized replacement fuses.
Compact Footprint on Electric Oxidizers
Intellishare’s Flameless Electric Catalytic Oxidizers
are engineered to have a smaller structural footprint without
compromise in design principles or destruction efficiency
of the oxidizer. Why is this important? Most UST projects
are located in urban areas and space is at a premium. Some
companies don’t want to sacrifice parking spaces to
make room for remediation equipment. In a typical installation
of Intellishare’s 300 CFM electric oxidizer, one of
our most popular models, the footprint occupies just under
25% of a typical 9’ by 20’ parking stall.
UV Scanners in Thermal Oxidizers
In detecting flame signals (operating temperatures can approach
1600 degrees), a UV scanner has a distinct advantage over
a flame rod (typically used in other oxidizers). The UV scanner
is isolated from the process stream, thus increasing its
reliability, accuracy and life span. In contrast, the flame
rod can only be installed in the combustion chamber where
it’s exposed to airborne contaminates and is susceptible
to particulate build-up and corrosion.
